The patterned hospital scrub provides an intermediary imaginary between patient/doctor, a momentary or prolonged resting spot for nervous eyes and a distraction from shiny clinical objects. When I was young my dentist’s office and uniforms were Hawaii themed, for instance. In this case we have a vista-web of surfing santas. Surfing on an extended chain wave. It’s a funny design, but once lost in the spinning patchwork of santas you maybe feel a little sick. Multiplying prismatic shirtless santas. Santa, the patron saint of the western consumers’ spending calendar… on holiday. Lost in a net of himselves. A legion of surfing shirtless sunglazzed santas riding a wave around your nurses midsection.  -KG
